제임스 B. 조르단(James B. Jordan)은 Westminster에서 M, A. 와 Th.M.를 받았고, Central School of Religion에서 D.Litt. 학위 를 받았다. 그는 원래 신율주의(Theonomy)에 매료되어 Texas Tyler에서 Geneva Divinity School의 교장과 교수로 있었으나, 성경 해석상의 차이로 따로 나와서, 지금은 Florida의 Niceville에서 성경 연구 저널인 Biblical Horizons의 설립자요 책인자로 있으 며 많은 저술과 강연을 하고 있다. 그는 주저인 본서 [새로운 시각으로](Through New Eyes)외에 , Judges: God"s War Against Humanism, The Law of the Covenant, Covenant Sequence in Leviticus and Deuternomy 등이 있으며, 그 외에도 Biblical Horizons의 간행물들을 통하여 활발하게 문 서 사역을 하고 있다.
