TIMOTHY GEORGE is founding dean of Beeson School of Divinity, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama, Previously, he was associate professor of church history and historical theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. He holds degrees from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga(A.B.), Harvard Divinity School (M.Div.), and Harvard University (Th.D.) and is the author of [John Robinson and the English Separatist Tradition] and co-editor of [Continuity and Discontinuity in Church History].
