사우스이스턴 침례신학교(Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary)에서 성경 신학으로 박사 학위를 받았다. 복음주의신학 회와 성서문학회 회원이며, 오클라호마 침례 대학교(Oklahoma Baptist University) 교수이다. <성경과 해석학 세미나> 운영 위 원으로도 일하고 있다. 저서로는 Christ and the New Creation: A Canonical Approach to the Theology of the New Testa- ment (Wipf & Stock)가 있다.
