윌리엄 C. 스폰 (William C. Spohn, 1944-2005) 성경과 윤리의 관계, 로마 가톨릭의 도덕 신학, 미국 철학과 신학 분야의 작품으로 유명한 기독교 윤리학자이다. Gonzaga Univer -sity(B. A.)와 the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley(M. Div., S. T. L.)와 the Divinity School of the University of Chicago (M. A., Ph. D.)를 졸업했다. Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley(1979-1992)와 Santa Clara University의 the Bannan Center for Jesuit Education(1998-2004)에서 가르쳤다.
