고종필 교수(교육철학) 미주장로회신학대학교 대학기관평가처장 및 학부 과정 디렉터와 선교학 석사 프로그램 디렉터로 섬기고 있다. 국립인천대학교에서 산업공학(B.S.)을, 백석대학교 기독신학대학원에서 목회학(M.Div.)을 전공하고, 미국 캘리포니아의 탈봇신학대학원(Talbot School of Theology, Biola University)에서 성경해석학(MA in Bible Exposition)과 영적형성(MA in Spiritual Formation)으로 석사학위를 받고, 같은 학교에서 Dr. Klaus Issler와 Dr. Kevin Lawson의 지도를 받아 철학박사(Ph.D. in Educational Studies) 학위를 받았다. 박사 논문으로 “The Perceived Impact of an Extended Sabbatical or Ministry Leave Regarding One’s Relationship with God for Pastors”을 썼고, SPCE(Society of Professors in Christian Education)의 정회원으로 소논문을 발표하곤 한다.
