이를 통해 독자들은 한 개인의 가치가 온 천하보다 소중하게 평가된다는 것과 천하보다 귀하게 평가된 바로 그 개인에게 하나님께서 민족과 국가를 ‘선물’로 주셨다는 사실을 깨닫게 될 것이다. 결론적으로 저자는 이 책을 통해 성경이 개인적, 가정적, 민족적이며 동시에 모든 민족적인 책이라는 것을 드러내고 있다.
